Marie Stockhill graduated from the University of Utah with a degree in fine art. She worked as a special education teacher for over two decades. After moving back to Montana in the early 2000s, she returned to art. Pottery has become an obsession. Marie is intrigued by the unending possibilities of what can be done with clay. Each new piece is an experiment. She likes to think her work is funky and unusual. Most pieces also enjoy a rustic quality created through the use of textures, earthy clays, oxides and whimsical additions.
