Ilona Fellows is a plein air artist living in Kayenta, a desert community in Ivins City, Utah.
Formal art training began after moving to Fairbanks Alaska in the early 70s. She studied fine art at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Taking workshops in watercolor, oil painting, pastels and printmaking also help her develop as an artist. Ilona has been in many group shows, juried shows and several solo shows. When traveling she paints in journals. Long morning walks and road trips in southern Utah provide endless material for paintings.
